Little India has some unique items that I, having traveled to India once could be found common place in the state of Gujarat (West India/Bharat.) Very few places I have found have the Makhani items such as Chicken Makhani and Dhal Makhani. They also serve an array of meat dishes including lamb, chicken (tandoori style as well), beef and egg. They also cater dishes to the vegan pallet and serve a variety of bread types; Naan (thick and savory), Paratha, Puri (small fried puffed and poke to add food inside, Bhatura (large fried puffed and poke to add food inside) and Chapathi (thin, simple and easy.) The bread is used to eat one handily by picking up the food with a pitch of the fingers with the bread and forward into the mouth. With my experience with South Asian families that have invited me to eat, the most common bread used is the Chapathi and ironically Naan is the most common bread ordered in Indian restaurants. I was pleased to find several bread items for eating with the hands. Many cultures have evolved from food products that plates have taken the place, from Korean use of lettuce leaf to Mexican use of corn and flour tortillas. For me I prefer the Chapathi; personally being on a mostly keto diet it just makes sense to eat with less dough and cost less dough as well. They are also offering lunch buffets on the weekend for almost half the cost of this meal I ordered today:
