It’s third location sits next to the up and coming new Red Line stop at Bryn Mawr. This marks my third visit to Dulce at this location. Today I ordered a Green Matcha tea with choice of iced or hot. Well I like it hot and the server got creative:
I like to eat here for it’s unique variety of foods that transcends many cultures and influences, keeping the items to traditional forms and away from a focus on fusion. Staff is approachable and friendly. Both card and cash are accepted tender.
Personally the most welcome quality today at this establishment is they play music by one of my most favorite people: Frank Sinatra. So I felt at home.
Everything put together and served is treated like a masterpiece of art and at reasonable prices. Truly, the eyes eat first.
Also the three spots, one off Western and another off Lawrence are all operated and owned by different members of the same family. And they develop menus based on the demographics of the area with their unique touch of ingredients and presentation. Currently the owner of the Edgewater location is looking to expand their cafe to the suburbs with a heavy demographic in serving certified Halal meats/foods.
There is also a bar like area to the front window which I find ideal for setting up a laptop, an order a refreshment every so often. Though you want to charge up since outlets are scarce. They provide you their WiFi as well. Just ask for it at the register.
